Livano Liberty Park

MBA Engineers provided both geotechnical and structural engineering services for the development. The geotechnical scope involved a comprehensive site evaluation for the LIV Livano and Filmont Residences. Because the project site lies within an area of previous strip mining, MBA conduced in-depth subsurface exploration to assess the presence of shallow coal seams and historical mining activity. These investigations informed the final geotechnical recommendations, and MBA continues to support the project through ongoing construction materials testing for all phases of development.

As structural engineer of record, MBA designed the primary structural systems for a wide range of buildings across the site. The market-rate multifamily component includes three apartment buildings--two four story structures with integrated ground-level clubhouse space and one three-story elevator-served buildings -as well as a series of single-story duplexes, two-story townhomes, a pet center, fitness center, maintenance building, and garage structure.
