A new classroom building on the UAB campus housing the university’s School of Business. The building is a 4-story structure constructed using structural steel framing and composite concrete floors. Foundations for the structure are drilled piers bearing on rock. The building includes classrooms, offices, break-out spaces, and an ICC-500 tornado shelter. The gross square footage is approximately 110,000 square feet. The project received an AIA Design Award in 2019.
