An entirely new campus that combines McNair Middle School and Jemison High School. It is constructed of load bearing concrete masonry walls with a steel joist roof and precast hollow core elevated floor framing, all supported on shallow foundations. The campus includes a competition gymnasium, a performing arts theater, and two P.E. gymnasiums constructed with load bearing masonry, structural steel and steel beams and joists. The project includes an ICC-500 tornado shelter. The gross square footage is approximately 250,000.
