The project consists of a new 195,000 square foot, 5-story expansion to the existing hospital. The expansion provides additional neonatal/pediatric ICU units, additional operating rooms and larger patient rooms. Two levels of parking are beneath the footprint of the expansion. The structural system is reinforced concrete beam and slab floors (post-tensioned girders) supported on concrete columns and walls with a drilled pier foundation system.
