South Vinemont Sports Complex
South Vinemont, Cullman County, AL
This project consists of a 5-field softball/baseball complex
with center concession area located on approximately 18
acres. Provided civil engineering services
for the project, which included both the mass grading of the
undeveloped site and the finished grading for the interior
playing surface of the fields. Drainage, detention, erosion
control, and balancing earthwork volumes were a big part
of this project.

I-65 / Alford Avenue Interchange Landscaping Project
Hoover, AL
This ALDOT funded and regulated project consists of landscaping and minor bridge modifications to the interchange. MBA provided the civil engineering for the project including erosion control, traffic control, and assistance to the landscape architect to help navigate the project through the ALDOT process.

Vestavia Hills Tornado Shelters
Liberty Park Athletic Complex
Vestavia Hills, AL
This FEMA sponsored grant project consist of two large bunker-like shelters at the Liberty Park Athletic Complex, capable of sheltering participants and spectators in the event of inclement weather. The two all concrete structures were surrounded and buried with a layer of earth to increase the structures' safety. The structures also serve as lookout platforms for spectators during fair weather. Civil Site Design services were provided.
