flat plate structure with an elevated pool structure. It is
located adjacent to the Sheraton Hotel. The Westin Hotel
is slated to be the “Cornerstone” of the Marketplace
Entertainment Development. Together the $70.0 Million
Project, which has begun construction, is the first significant
Development in downtown Birmingham in the last several
years and one of the leading projects in the downtown
revitalization movement.
